GIS Systems supporting the Hurricane Matthew Emergency Operations response effort We have several GIS systems that were used during the emergency and to support the cleanup effort. This presentation will provide an overview of our systems and the resulting workflow.
12:30 p.m – 12:50 p.m Keith Joiner - The JEA Mapping Your Career Are you ready to put you newfound GIS skills to the test, and make a comfortable living at doing it? The level of your skill set is directionally proportionate to the salary you will receive for your hard work. Knowing what skills are required for the many different GIS related jobs is paramount to your future success. We will take a look at current job openings throughout the US and discuss the skill level for each. 12:55 p.m – 1:15 p.m Lauren Rushing – HDR NERPM AB Land use/Parcel Editing Tool The Parcel Editing tool was created for the Northeast Regional Planning Activity Based Model (NERPM AB) and is an add-in to ArcGIS that provides a user interface which allows the user to split/merge parcels and edit parcel level data. The tool then generates new DaySIM inputs for Cube with the edits included.
